Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

This page explains how information is handled when you use theaccentletters.com. You can use the character library and writing tools without creating an account.

Your text and searches

The writing tools process text in your browser. The application does not send your writing, character searches or editing history to its server, and it does not store finished documents in an account. Save your work by copying it before leaving or refreshing the page.

Clipboard actions

A copy button writes the selected character or text to your clipboard when you activate it. The tool does not automatically read your clipboard. Text you paste into the editor is processed in the browser. Your device and the destination app handle what happens after you paste it elsewhere.

Recently copied characters and preferences

The library uses local storage to remember up to 12 recently copied characters and their names. Saved favorites also use local storage. This information belongs to the current browser profile and may remain after you close the tab; it is not saved in a website account.

Choose Clear in the Recently copied section to remove that list. To remove all locally stored preferences, clear theaccentletters.com site data in your browser settings. Private browsing or storage restrictions can prevent this information from being retained.

Page requests and hosting

Opening a page sends connection information to the server, including the requested address, your IP address and browser request headers. Hosting and security services may keep logs to deliver the site, diagnose problems or prevent abuse. The writing tools do not add your editor text to these requests. Fonts are served from the site.

Google Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to report on visits and page use. Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as page views, browser and device details, referral information and approximate location. Google processes this information to provide usage reports.

The application does not add editor text or clipboard contents to analytics events. You can manage cookies in your browser. Google provides an Analytics opt-out add-on for supported browsers. For more detail, see Google’s explanation of data from partner sites and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Email messages

When you contact [email protected], your message includes your email address and any details or attachments you send. Email delivery is separate from the browser writing tools. Share only what is needed to explain your question.

Your choices

You can clear stored characters, site data and cookies through the controls described above. For a question about information shared by email or website requests, or an access, correction or deletion request where applicable, email the contact address above. Identify the relevant information without sending passwords.
